I thought that the new raptor got the yfz parking break setup? I know it got the lever I just wonder if the actual mechanism changed.
Leaving a raptor in gear during transport is not a good idea and niether is starting it in gear. It can turn the engine over in reverse and cause damage to the starter, rod and other internals.

Starting the raptor in gear is really hard on the one way when it doesnt start on the first rotation or two of the starter. The one way takes most of the strain and you shorten your one way/starter life.

Why bother with the parking brake? Engine off in gear is just as good. Mine never worked right. And I never start in gear. But I still think my 1 way is on the way out. it'll get done with the new clutch.
