Warrior problem, no spark.
#1
I have a 1997 yamaha warrior and it doesnt have any spark and i do not know what to do. Anybody have any ideas? I think it is either the coil or the stator. Is there any way to check them?

Get a test light and see if there is power reaching the coil, there should be a wire that runs into the coil, check that while cranking it. Try using a diffrent pulg as well, maybe its just shot.

Can you drag it with another quad and start it.? have you checked the wires that go from the stator to the harness for bare spots?

hell you can make one with a flashlight lightbulb and some wire, but its probably better to just buy a testlight. Also have you been through any deep puddles lately? My friends dirtbike was having the same problem and when we took the stator cover off it was full of water.

Dang I just went out to look at my warrior, it has been over 2 monthes since it went down. She has 4 flat tires, she is rusty, clutch cable is broken, And I belive my clutch is shot because it was slipping last time I ran it........ That is only because I roasted the tires off.....ah that could be why my tires are flat. Anyways can somebody help me with the spark???? I have no clue what is the matter with it. All my wires are good so i dont know if it is either my stator, cdi, coil or something. PLEASE help me I am desperate after two monthes of no riding.
