Default Hole in exhaust...help!!!

2001 Warrior with a full DG Chrome exhaust system.

The rear mounting bracket cracked completely off. Now there's a hole the size of a small dougnut in my exhaust.

What can I do...besides the obvious "buy a new one"???

you could tack weld a piece of metal over it

btw- DG chrome pipes are really junky built, same with there 2 stroke pipes,

i agree get a pc T4, yoshi, or a HMF you wont have the problem, plus you will pick up some more power!..

Get a better pipe like a T-4 or a White Brothers, they work great with warriors!! When I first got my warrior I had put a crappy Cobra pipe on; the mounting bracket broke due to shock and hard riding, its really just because the mounting method they use sucks... T-4s use a grommet and spacer method of mounting to absorb shock and impact so it wont break; the pipe is GREAT!

I think I'm going to go with the White Brothers E Series pipe.

I won't be buying it until the spring...so in the meantime can I do a quick hack job on my busted muffler???

Maybe some tin and some metal straps???

Any ideas????
