Dude,

Not insulting you or anything but make sure your choke is in the off position...
I have a 04 raptor 350 and I noticed as well when i was breaking it in it got super hot
when i was up in the high desert running it...i was running it pretty hard too.. it would bogg down
and die if i didnt keep my thumb on the throttle..took it a while for it come back to life..it worried me
when i was up there.. we were going up steep hills and through some winding trails.. when going up steep
hills i noticed when I was low on gas that it would bogg down during full throttle and have to not give it full
throttle but nurse the throttle it to make it up the hill, sometimes it shut off.. it was weard.
i wasnt sure if it was a over heat problem or a low on gas problem.. this happend during a long period of ride
time about 1.5 hours of hauling a**

I was up at pismo this summer and I noticed that my quad liked a full tank of gas when I was going up steep hills
I had my bike die on me when I was goin up a steep slope, began to turn and it just quit.. I ended coming off on the
down hill side and rolling it, luckly getting out of the way quick enough. took it a long time for it to turn back over
(about 10-15 min) I checked my gas and i had enough gas to just cover the bottom of the tank... I thought i was stuck
out there with my friend but I let it sit for a while and clicked it into reserve and it came back to life.
I had a 95 warrior for 3 years and I ran the **** out of that thing and never once had a problem like any of these im talkin
about..

anyway.... keep this in mind and good luck!

yea my choke was def. on, in fact it would only start wit the choke on when it overheated. this past weekend it rode fine, didnt have any problems at all. the only thing was it sputtered a lil bit, but it was low on gas so i had to reserve it. it must have been the clutch lever cuz i took the handguards off and it rode perfect.
