raptor 350 overheating

Default raptor 350 overheating

my raptor 350 overheats in like 5 min. if i run it past half throttle at all. i am jus breaking it in and only went over half throttle and it over heated. it did it again when i caught myself again goin over half throttle. its hard not to have alot of fun on this thing[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] is this jus because its breaking in?

Check to make sure you have raidiator fulid...wait, its air-cooled right? hm.... i relly cant help you sory.

it shouldn't be overheating at all.. and how do u know it's overheating??

How do you know its overheating? I run mine SUPER hard and i havn't overheated it

Doesnt the Red Light with like a picture on it light up when it overheats??

its overheating cuz ill be ridin around and it'll bog and shut off, i let it sit for a lil and feel the engine when its a little cooler. start it up. and it runs fine. it overheats for like a minute and shuts off. then i wait and start it up and take off. keep in mind im just breaking it in. maybe jus an hour on the bike. im gonna drop the oil soon

Ya, same here. I ran my hard since i got it and it never overheated..

do yourself a favor and just go beat the **** out of it, clear its lungs out. If it keeps doing that bring it to yamaha, maybe the carb is clogged up or something

You can slap an oil cooler on your beast just to let you know X_X!
