raptor 350 overheating

yup, overheated twice in 30 min. took it to the dealer to see wat the problem is.

the only thing they could think of at the time was jetting, they r going to run it tommorow and see what goes on. hopefully its just a valve out of alignment or somethin minor.

Yeah keep us updated on it, I've got about 10 hrs. on mine and have'nt had any problems..knock on wood!!! Heading to Muenster this wknd!!

i got it back today, the dealership said they could not find anything wrong with it. they said they could get it as hot as they could but it wouldnt jus stop. the only thing they said might have happend was when i put my handguards on, it wouldnt allow the clutch lever to go out all the way. they said that mighta done somethin to cause overheating. so they adjusted the clutch and hopefully nothing craps out tommorow when i go ridin at my local trails

now that i think for a little, my friends rap 660 overheated sometimes cuz his clutch slack wasnt adjusted, so the slack and the lever not being out all the way prolly made it overheat. im prolly jus not use to the extra heat coming off an air cooled 350. my old crf use to get hot, but not as hot as this does

Well at least you know its not something big. Where do you ride, if its real muddy the mud can start to cake up on the motor and trap heat. Other then that i really can't tell you whats causing that. Good luck

i was just riding in my grassy field, theres some mud but not enough to cake on the motor. im goin riding jus at local trails today which are going to be muddy because of rain.
