Default Bearclaws or Mudlites??

I have 589's and they are one tough tire. I have had them for about a year and i drive a lot on rodes and there is barely any wear on them. They are way too rough though. I will be getting new tires in April. I dont know what to get yet

Intersting you are riding an 06 Rubicon, I have the 05, so it is essencially the same bike how does your Rubi turn the 26" Mudlites? Can you still spin em off the start? Do they help lift the front end better than the stock tires? Did you go with the 12" wide rear tires or stay with the 10" stock width?

Mine turn's the 26's no prob, hardly even noticable. And yes it does spin them off from a start easily, of coarse a few aftermarket mods would really help though too. And I did stay with the 10" wide too. After seeing some buddies with narrrower rear tires do so well in the mud I decided to do the same and do not regret it one bit. You lose no power and gain so much traction. If I go to 589's I will run 9's on the backs becuase they are such a wide tire to begin with.
