I help disassemble my buddies blaster engine last night. While reassembling I noticed they did not assy a ball in the Push Rod. They told me they lost it the last time and adjusted the clutch plate so they didn't need it !! To me the damn ball is there for a reason and they know they are missing it !! They told me they adjusted the bolt in the middle of the clutch plate, not the spring bolts, but the middle one. Is this possible to fix this way ?? What actually does the ball do. It seems to me it actually pushes the clutch plate away from the disks. Is this correct ??
Please help !!!

it acts like a spacer. i lost mine and figures it wouldnt be a major thing so i put the clutch all back together and with out it i couldnt get my clutch to disengage. so i ended up pulling it all apart again. so i`d go to the dealer and buy one.
