Suzuki Z400 Vs. Yamaha Warrior
I have a 97 yamaha warrior with aftermarket cluches, an 04 stock full system Exhaust, holeshot XCT front tires 23inch and dirt devel rear 22inch tires, and a weisco piston. I can keep up with a Z400 in the woods no problem. iam about 150 pounds. the Z400 is an 03. its completly stock. i don't have that much into mine, but i can deff. say that a 400 isn't that much more faster than mine. maybe top speed wise but thats about it. i mean, you can only go so fast in trails, so we both are never toped out.

Is the stock Z400 running? does it have a rider? That's about the only ways in which I think a warrior with a pipe is going to beat a Z. You've got some work to do on a warrior just to get to the HP of a Z, then you have the weight difference to contend with, not to mention handling and suspension ..
In short, no.
In short, no.

You don't always have to jet just because you put a pipe on, big misconception!! More times then not jetting isn't needed. It's when you get more air in that you have to rejet, no ifs, ands or buts.........
