I have a 2001 wolverine and one day I went riding and and wrecked and the dash piece got snatched off and ever since it hasnt acted right I checked all the wires and everything, it wont start on its own the battery is fully charged... I tow start it and it will run as long as you hold the throttle but as soon as you let off the gas it dies and I checked to see if it had spark, sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt and sometimes its really weak anyone know what it might be?? thanks......

 

check the wires to the ignition coil under the tank if one of the wires come loose, weak spark or if the coil is loose from the frame........ follow all wires down thruogh the frame that none of them got stretched broke inside covering or grounding to frame

I finally got around to working on the wolvy, I took both front and rear plastic off and traced all the wires and none were stretched or broken or shorted out so I traced the hot wire from the ignition coil to the CDI and I cut the wire open right where it goes into the CDI and i spun it over and it wasnt hot so I checked the one on my Big Bear and it was so Im guessing that its my CDI im going to get a new one if I can find one, thanks for the help.........

 

what year is the big bear? is it a 350 or 400 if 350 change cdi from big b to wolv and see ifit works.

 

the big bear is a 01 and its a 400 I already tried to use it, its not the same, thanks anyways
