wolverine problems
#1
i have a 2004 yamaha 350 Wolverine, i was driving it and i it keeps trying to bog out. I think it might have something to do with the carb but im not sure. It runs, but as soon as i hit the throttle it starts to bog out. I dont know what the problem is. It happened about a week ago when i was drving through mud, but then it stopped and today i was driving in the snow and it did it, could their be somehting in my pep ****, or maybe my air filter.
thanks for you help

does it cut out like when you have the park brake on and give it gas? or just loose power like it has no gas? could be water in the fuel? drain fuel bowl-open/unscrew screw on bottom side of bowl, catch gas in container, look if it has a "bubble" on the bottom.

I checked the parking brake and thats not it, the little censor on the handle bars works but thats not causing it to bog down. It'll only run with the choke on, as soon as i turn it off my my quad dies. At about half throttle its sarts to bog down. I looked at my air filter and it had snow it so i cleaned it out, could the ratio between the gas and air mixture in the carb be casuing it to die?

1. Remove carb
2. Tear carb down as far as possible
3. Use B12 and clean it out (AVOID SHOOTING THE FLOATS)
4. Blast the little openings with compressed air (watch out, it could get in your eye)
5. Re assemble the carb
6. Install the carb.
7. Go ride
