Default Yamaha Warrior gearing?

Hi Guys,
I just traded my '00 YZ250 for a '99 Warrior. What is the gearing supposed to be on this thing? I am not expecting 80 or anything, but it feels really slow. I know it has a 14 front (stock?) on it, and the rear is definitely stock.
Also, are there any quick, easy mods that are common on these to wake them up? It already has a DG pipe, and k&N filter.
Thanks!

STOCK GEARING IS 13/38 and its only going to run 60/65 tops in stock form and for extra power i would buy a HMF slip on and a DYNO JET KIT FOR IT and a K&N air filter that will help tons and put a 13 tooth sproket back on front and if you dont have 20tyz inch tires on back you outta get some

I'll look into the jet kit. Is there something wrong with the DG pipe? Someone obviously spent some dough on it.
And what I meant by slow is the top end. It has enough grunt to take off in 4th gear, and yes it has worn down 20" flat trackers on it. And my paddles are 20" also. I was thinking a 16t front sprocket. Is this the wrong idea?

smaller front= more power
bigger front = more speed

I know just what you mean..I swore by dirtbikes for years untill I got on a Raptor.

Then I purchased a Warrior...way slow compared to a 250 2 stroke weighing 100 plus pounds less than a 350 4 stroke...thats what it was for me,couldnt believe the power difference between the two..but I love my quads and wouldnt trade them in for any dirtbike

They probably upped the front sprocket a tooth to make up for the shorter rear tires. Someone posted the stock gears. Stock tires are 22" (and suck). I lost about 10MPH top end (I get about 45 on the GPS) with 20" sand sharks so some of that is the sand holding it back some.

Dropping back a tooth on the front to the stock 13T will cause you to lose some top end speed, but acceleration and grunt will pick up.

some easy mods that are also pretty cheap that you could look into is dyno jet kit , slip on exhaust,k&n air filter all three of them are pretty cheap and add alot of power for the lil dough you put into it
