My friends and I are having sa disagreement i say that a Blaster could beat a warrior in a race and some agree. But others say that the warrior would blow a blaster away. Please respond.

Race? What kind of race? On a MX track, flat track, desert XC, woods, on tight tech trails? or maybe down a public dirt or paved road (which you shouldn't be doing anyway). About half of those may go to the Blaster, the other half to the Warrior, assuming equal rider ability. On the other hand, superior skill on the part of either rider could easily reverse the halves or capture both halves.
So your question is really unanswerable & meaningless with the possible exception of a drag race which is a silly way of riding any OHV (My opinion, you're entitled to yours).

I think the Warrior would win in most cases. It accelrerates better and has a higher top speed.

A blaster doesn't have a chance. I've raced many blasters and all they saw was the roost off my Dunlops.

I own both a '97 Blaster and a '98 Warrior. The Blaster has an FMF pipe with a K&N filter the Warrior has the same. The Blaster feels faster off the line but that is only because of its smaller size. The Warrior not only starts out with the holeshot but it will steadily accelerate away from the blaster. It also has at least a 10mph higher top speed. Basically the Blaster has very little chance. Another thing to note is that I ran a poker run this last weekend with my wife riding the blaster and me the warrior. I had to take over the blaster because she couldnt get the blaster moving up over obstacles due to its much lower torque. I had to slip the clutch alot to keep her moving. Of course, that's just the nature of a 2 stroke. They are both fun machines but the Warrior is hands down faster and quicker.

Both me and my friend have Blasters, and my other two friends that we ride with have a warrior and a banshee. All of the machines have been tweaked with pipes, filters, reeds (ex.warrior), aftermarket pistons, tires, etc.... Our two blasters usually are seeing a banshee butt, and the warrior is usually right with us where ever we go. The warrior might get us on very top end ( not by much) but in acceleration we take him every time to the start of 6th gear. 4-strokes just don't have the explosive power band that 2-strokes do unless you do some $$$$$ mods to them. Their nature is not quickness, it's reliability and smooth power!

Important note: all four of us are in the 6ft 150-170lb range, so weight isn't a factor.

PS. He recently sent his motor away to be bored and stroked because he lunched it last time we were out. When it comes back our Blasters are in trouble!! I want a Banshee!

If you put the same amount money, or same mods to a 2-stroke and a 4-stroke...the 2-stroker will develop way more power. So maybe in this guys case with totally decked out bikes the Blasters will run with the other 2. Stock for stock, the Warrior will win. Small mods (pipes, filters, bolt ons) the Warrior will win. Major engine work (pistons, cam for the Warrior, other engine mods) the Blaster will have a better chance of producing more power.

i would think the blaster would be a lot quicker off the line, thats if you clutch it right. i have raced against a 250x and a 400ex in sand, i started of in 2nd and got the jump (we were racing to the beginning of a tight trail, which i got there first) i dont think its because of lack of skill either because he used to own the 250x for like 7 years b4 my friend bought it. ive ridden the 250x and the 400ex and they just dont have as much pull as a 2stroke. the 400ex has better pull than the 250x. gettin back to the warrior, its also big and 400lbs compared to 320 i think the lighter one would deffinetly get the jump.

haha, good joke. a Blaster is no competition for a 400EX. a Warrior is hardly competition!
