MAYBE USED DUNE BUGGY WHIP MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL ON A SPRING WOULD BE GOOD AND TOUGH. I HAVE TWO KINDS ONE THAT BREAKS AND ONE THAT DOES NOT. BREAKS IS MOUNTED IN A DRILLED BOLT HEAD AND IS JUST AN EPOXY'D FIBERGLASS SHAFT INTO THE BOLT HEAD. THE OTHER WHICH WORKS AND DOES NOT BREAK IS A SPRING BASED FIBERGLASS SHAFT.
NEITHER ONE IS QUIK-RELEASE THO. (NUT n BOLT)

that T.P. joke was pretty humerous though, you have to admit it!!!!!!!!!!!!
i laughed good, only because here at work we got a new plotter that takes paper rolls and the size they ordered is too big and rather than exchanging them they cut 10" off of them to make them work.
it reminded me of that!!!!!!!!!!

Yo speedy...... If I remember right you go to the Badlands ORV Park. They have flags there that arent to expensive.... $10 for the small one and $15 for the big one. If you break it there then they will fix it for $2. That seems alot easier then what your going through right now tryin to find material. I have several from there because I always seem to leave home; get about half way there, before I remember that I need a flag to ride there...LOL. If ya still wanna make your own then I would reccomend that you use JB Weld to hold the fiberglass into the sleeved bolt.... it works great.
