Best place to buy '05 Kodiak oil filters
#11
There's two things I would'nt be cheap on. It's the Filter and the oil. Like the commerical from 20 years ago said: YOU CAN PAY ME NOW OR PAY ME LATER. I would rather pay 10 to 12 for a good filter that pay to have my engine rebuilded

One thing I noticed on that filter rating site he rates the Yamaha filter as bad since it has paper endcaps...Does the paper ever really filter into your engine????? Plus I noticed the unique design for that filter that none of the other filters have. It has radial channels and the filter is as larger as the shell. I think these features might be a good thing and maybe the Yamaha filter is best for Yamaha Motors. Any thoughts?
I for one don't want to skip on oil filters or oil either. I think I might stick with Yamaha Brand but otherwise I would probable go with that Emgo Filter.

Right off hand, i would say yes But go to the yamaha website or your dealer and compare the yami part number for the filters, i believe they will be the same, they are also the same number for the bruin and grizzly.
