Hey I didn't have my 99 Warrior completely paid off either but managed to swing a deal at the dealership. I really made out good believe it or not. The Raptor is definitly worth it. My warrior had everything moded out except the engine. And yes Greenridge does get old afterwhile but the casmpings good. Tower city is the bomb! Keep in touch if you want to go riding.

I fail to see where Flyin_Ryan actually "bashed" the Raptor. I did see where the extremely "mature" YamaRaptor as well as some others actually bash Ryan for what he rides. Hypocrites.

As far as the Raptor goes:

Personally, I like the fact that a new quad has been released. In a few years, I may even consider buying one if improvments are made. However, it is completely ignorant to say it has "no problems" and is "the perfect quad." Perhaps the owners are trying to justify spending $7k+ to be Yamaha Beta testers.

Been there seen that. Bama250r your true to your word. I got the acessories sheet from Yamaha on 9/5 when I picked my Raptor. It's about time a factory has stepped up and makes aftermarket parts for its machines. Go Yamaha! I think that the a-arm guards are wild! They even come up to protect the upper alumminum a-arms. It looks totally stealth. I have always went with DG skids with AC front mudscreen bumpers on my bike. These new products from GTYR are changing my mind. Except I'm waiting for the White Bros. R series pipe to come out. I can't possibly amagine what the power will be like then! Scary all too scary! Oh Yeah!

when the 400ex came out banshee owners cried like hell that the mags were giving it to much pub. Now the raptor is here and here we go again!
everyone should just be happy that these types of machines are being built!!
but I am sure of one thing - the only ones crying are the ones who ain't got the jack to step up and buy a new machine
everyone just should ride and be happy they have something to ride
