yes I have the linkage and elka shock, it is awesome cause I can catch 10-20 feet of air and land smoothly w/out bottoming out on just rear wheels. also the linkage provides more travel AND lowers the ride height by an inch or 2.

however, revalving most likely will allow the same performance minus lowering the ride height and gaining an extra inch of travel

I would revalve, unless you want absolutely the best and can afford it. is $1000 worth an extra inch of travel and 1 inch lower ride height?

thats my take on the matter, peace

I know a couple shops in Mansfield who will revalve your shock and put a stiffer spring on it for $250, and the only other thing they do is change the oil.

When I was shopping for re-valves for my raptor shock, the prices I found were all over $400.
TCS wanted $410 for a new dual-rate spring, re-valving, new piston and nitro re-charge. Elka wanted over $500, but they would also convert the shock to a remote reservoir.
They changed the oil to I believe a lighter weight, revalved, set the preload, rebound and compression to my weight, terrains I ride, and my style. The stock spring was fine for my weight so it wasn't necessary to change unless I wanted ZPS or dual/triple rate. Been ridin' it for two years like this and it's perfect for me.
