the raptor will smoke a z250 nevermind the fact that the rap has very good suspension and the suspendion on the z and 250ex suck. Also the z had a shaft which is heavy and you wont have the option to change the gearing for more speed or bottom end. I dont know any one with a z but i know a few people with 250exs, they are slow and they hit the rev limiter quickly in the lower gears. The only nice thing about the z and the 250ex is that they whellie good for a semi but the rap probally wheelies much better. They are not even in the same class really.

 

and yes it will haul people no problem

 

raptor is bigger and better all around. its like comparin a warrior to a z250, but the raptor is a lil better than the warrior

 

I've ridden both a Z250 and a Warrior. Not being loyal to either brand, I'll definitely be looking for a used raptor 350. If the raptor is anything like a warrior (which it seems to be) I can't see wasting my money on a z. They really is no comparison.

 

A raptor 350 doesn't even compare to the z250 in my opinion,a 350 would smoke the z250 with absolutly no problem.

 

The 350 is a great bike, its an intermediate trail/sport bike, the 250's are beginner bikes. The motor is bullitproof, the suspension is ok for sport riding, real good for trails, power is good, its torqey, gets your out of ruts, will wheelie good but the balance point is up high so its a little weird at first.
