I just put 26 in itp 589 on my 05 kodiak and it is great. No rubbing and best all it drives alot better than the stock tires. i am so glad I bought them. Anybody else have a kodiak let me know what you got. I ll have pics prob tonight!!

 

i had an 02 kodiak 400 with 589's on it. it rides rougher, but handles better if that sounds right [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] ? but those things are great. if you do alot of mudding youll love em, just dont expect to be a great rock climber. one other great part to them is the tread life. i had about 3500 miles on mine, with 1/3 of that on road, and they have 1/2 the life left. i had no rubbing issues except for jumping... did i mention i have yet to find someone else that ripped a swingarm on a kodiak?

 

I'll like to see those pics. I'm wondering about 26" 589's or bearclaws. The claws are cheaper. My buddy has the 589's on his SP 700 twin and that thing is unstoppable. But how heavy are they compared to stock tires? Is there really a power loss as some guys say?

 

oh yea, the 589 are B*tcing. best tires ever.

 

on a polaris sportsman, unless the clutch is modified, the 589's will kill it. we threw a set on my dads sp700 (26 in) and it now achieves a top speed of 54mph...

 

take a look at my pics i love em, and would go bigger, heck next time im just getting 29.5 outlaws, because i am sick of not having the biggest..

In my opinion 589's are the best tire on the market, I love mine on my wolvy.
