Modding my New Raptor 350???
Yeah I'm really lookin to throw an aftermarket air filter and possibly a pipe on my raptor 350, and I have several questions. First of all, what exactly is the difference between the K&N filter and the Pro Design? I'm kinda confused on which is which. I usually ride in pretty dusty areas, so I don't think riding with the Pro Design filter-to-be with an outerwear on with no lid is a good idea, correct? On top of that, supposing I can scrounge up the money to even get the filter, plate, outerwear, and pipe, I have no clue whatsoever on how to re-jet my carb. Is it something I can learn, or am I better off taking it to a shop and having them do it?
Thanks,
Justin.
Thanks,

Does any one with a warrior have this problem, When you are sitting there ideling and you punch it all the way really quick it like boggs way down? 2 of my buddies have this problem and they are jetted correctly. Even when they got them new they still did it. Can you fix this?

a pro-design filter gives you a alluminum bracket which you Screew into your airbox, then you get the supplied K&N which clamps onto the adapter. It gives you better performance, and better dirt protection. It also gives you the choice of running with the airbox lid off or on. If you get the stock replacment K&N filter its so/so, it wont block dirt off nearly as good as the pro-flow, and you have to run with your lid on. Also, i run at the dunes, and VERY VERY sandy conditions and i have my lid off, great bump up in HP, just clean your filter regularly and you will be fine.
