put clutch kit in my 05 grizzly
I did not see any big improvements over stock.....The clutch kit I got was from Dalton industries and was pretty easy to put in took me about an hour and a half. I think reverse is better than it was seems to go easier when bogged down in the mud. High range seems to ingage sooner than it use to so it goes through the trails a bit easier in high. mid-range is the same and I lost no top end at all. I raced a 04 grizz(with the same tires as me) and we were dead even and also raced a 05 700 praire and was dead even with out the clutch kit and with it. ( the praire has 27 inch 589's and I have 26" mudlites) so thats why we are even in the first place. He puts his stock tires on and has me by 4 quad lenghts in a 1000 feet. I was hoping to get a better hole shot than I was. The grizz acts the same as it did when you nail it from a dead stop, the front end goes up about a foot off the ground and holds it there about 10 feet and then just goes. I guess some improvment is better than none!

put clutch kit in my 05 grizzly
Hey Lafmgas, i just put a clutch kit from dalton industries in my 02 Grizz over the weekend...i noticed a BIG differencce in low end power from what it was factory, i am also running 27" mudlites, maybe thts why i noticed the difference. I have a question for ya though, was it difficult to put the reverse override in? and what would i need to do it? thanx in advance.
