I dont know if this will help at all but when my boyfriend first got his yfz he raced our friends Raptor on the road. The raptor had full pipe, jet, filter and was a very experienced rider but my boyfriend beat him time and time again. The raptor did start to catch him in the long run but not soon enough to win a 1/4 mile run. Maybe your results will be differant but i can't imagine it would be much differant.

 

thx racing chick ... i hope the results are different but i guess the only way i will know for sure is to race himi will find out next friday i guess.... i was thinking about getting a kNn airbox lid and a wiesco piston with 11.1 compression does anybody know how much these things help and any idea on what size jets i should run with the pipe filter lid and piston?

 

Wait, is that "yz450f" your talking about, or the YFZ quad. Your topic title says yzf450. If its the dirt bike yz450f, not a shot.
