The one 100% answer is the RAPTOR WILL WIN WHEN RACING IN REVERSE on both machines.
Otherwise, no one will know who will win between those two. they must race to find out.
Sometimes the Raptor will win, sometimes the YFZ will win. Better rider, better mods, better tuned are always key factors.

It is amazing that all of you yfz450 riders talk alot of smack.. about beating raptors like you say... You fellas probably havent raced any raptors worth raceing... You need to atop talking shi#....

I used to think the Raptor had more potential and, with enough money, whip any YFZ without a power adder. At the Clash of the Titans in Sicily LA, I learned differently. I wasn't the only one surprised, those stroked YFZs were taking out quick Banshees too.

I agree, there was a and I mean one real fast yfz450 (the black one on wheelie bars) the others was alright.. but the trans was cut and the motors was stroked... the one rappy the beat all but one wasnt even stroked... That was great to see...And this was also at sicily island...

Raptor vs yfz450
Raced a 04 yzf450 the other day with my 01 660 raptor. The yzf has yoshi, k&n, jet, rev box. The 660 has k&n ONLY. This was in an open field.....The yzf would beat me off the start as I could not keep the front of the raptor down. We rode side by side through my 1...2...3..gears. When I hit 4th I started pulling away. This is all the more we could test as we were out fo field. Just what I saw.
