Default Oil problem (wrong oil?)

Hey,
Ok. now i know this might sound like a dumb question, however i just bought a 94' Yamaha Blaster. I purchased oil, not knowing what kind its called "Super Tech-Outboard 2-cycle engine oil" i put it in already is it the wrong kind of oil and if so should i just change the oil and put the right stuff in? thanks

I do not know the specs on this kind of oil.

I would suggest buying the proper oil. The clutch disk's could start to slip with the wrong oil, causing premature wear.

my friend and i use amsoil 2 stroke oil. It says "for v twin engines" on the front it works flawless and smells great when it burns. Little expensive but you dont use up that much on blasters. Id reccomend it for anyone with a 2stroke machine.

I sugest go and buying Klotz(the blue bottle) they are 8.99 a quart at my local shop. It smells great when you are riding. On the oil tank there is a couple bolts that you gotta remove, there is a sensor on the top of the tank, unplug the wires, then remove the tank out and dispose of the oil properly, then Just take off the cover on the righ side of the motor, Youll see a little pump with a line running from the tank, there is a clip on the hose holding it to the pump, slide that back the pull the hose off, get an old town and set it at the end of the line, go to the other end and blow the old oil out. Once the tank it empty, install the tank , bolt it back in, and plug the hose back into the pump. Re connect the sensor, Fill the tank up with the new Klotz, then go back to the pump and pull off the hose again to make sure the oil is running out, if not you might have to siphen the the oil, once it begins to flow plug it back in to the pump. When you start it up make sure you let it idle for a minute to make sure you see the smoke coming out of the silencer.

I once bought some kawisaki two stroke oil and it plugged up the pump and the motor over heated and quit running. It was way too thick for the yamaha blaster so i suggest getting Klotz.
