just wondering if anyone is running the dmc exhaust and if so how do you like it i have it on my raptor and i dont know if i am very pleased with it. is seems to run good but it is super loud and it dosent pull on the top end as much as i would like it too, it has tons of bottom and mid though. i just never see anyone talking about this exhast on the forums just curious.

do you feel like you lost top end, or do you mean it just doesnt feel any faster? what jets are you running? im interested in a dmc dual exhaust for mine, but like you said, not a lot of other people talk about them. i still dont know if i want a crap load of top end, or if i want to get up to speed quicker.

no it is still alot faster than stock by all means but it dosent seem to have the top end like my buddies that has the yoshi sysem but it could just be me. i have just bought it though so i dont know what jets are in it so ill have to tear into it soon. but i think it will probably beat my buddies raptor in a drag race i'll know this weekend lol. but it does sound damn good i have a trail tech speedo and my top speed has been 69 mph so far so i guess thats not too bad.

You have the pipe on your bike and haven't jetted the carbs? That is why you aren't happy with it. Change the jetting to 160(r) 150(l) then move the needle to the middle position.
As far as the noise, I bought a quiet core and it worked great. The Alien has a beautiful torque curve, pulling all the way up past 8grand. Stick with the DMC, it is a great pipe. The Yosh is nice too but, everyone has one. They are getting played out, like the IROC-Z did in the 80's.

just keep an eye on the exhust studs on the head, I had mine break 4 different times. I tapped the head out and went with a larger grade 8 bolt and have not had a problem since. I think this problem has been solved by a slight re-design by DMC so you may never have a problem. As far as the pipe I like mine, when I went to the 686 and 12:1 piston it blew the the thing apart, I had the disk style spark arrestor on it and that didnt have enough discs with it so it pushed the whole baffle assy. out the back of the pipe. I have all new baffle assy and spark arrestor on the way( whenever it gets off back order). But other than that it has bee a great pipe.
