I made my own plates also, went to local heat&air contractor who also has a nice metal fabrication shop and got the metal. made a template out of cardboard first -size shape and bends. lay it out flat and trace outline on metal and mark bends-where and how much. I used metal conduit clamps with two holes in them and small machine screws&nuts done this a year ago cost about $60.00 metal and cuting/bending labor

i made my own for my blaster. cost me $0 because i got all of my material from work.
i used aluminum with adel clamps to fasten it to the frame. i used weatherstripping between the frame and aluminum to reduce vibration.
came out perfect and i thought about making some more then selling them.
the hardest part will be perfecting your template. i used cardboard then keep fitting and trimming.
