I hust bought a 05 raptor and I've seen pics of raptors with rims on them (16's,17's) i was wondering how they did this, I live in Montana and it is very easy to make them street legal along with plenty of places to take them off road so i want something i can switch easy. any ideas, any concerns besides the extra weight on the axels. i have a extra set of enekis 16's in my garage and would like to ride the rap this summer to save a little on gas.

if u have the $$ splurge and get some Hoosier's but if you don't i think kenda makes street tires. It's been a while since i've looked at street legal stuff for a quad... search the forum for them..

 

Wish we could make them street legal here that would be cool

 

you would probibly need a set of wheel adaptors to be able to get the wheels on. other than that the only thing i would watch is the break pads because of the extra rotating wieght

 

i have the tires i just need to find the adapters for the rims. my rap is already street legal.
