Which one is the better dune quad and why? YFZ450 or Raptro660----------

 

Maybe if we ignore him he'll go away...

 

They can both be set up to be awsome duners, but I would say the raptor just for the fact that it is more comfortable for all day rides.

 

I ride both out at the dunes but I have to say the raptor is more comfortable to cruise around on all day. It is really hard to pick one or the other......

 

Ah yes, another rude response from maddog56...... Why are you so intent on preventing people from asking questions????? ehlitdew, they are both nice quads.... The yfz450 is lighter and will handle a little better... But the Raptor will have more low end power..... If it would be all dune riding I would go with the yfz450...

 

got to stick with the raptor both have around the same performance just raptor is more comferable

 

I ride both at the dunes and if you like to shoot the big hills and take jumps then i would pick my YFZ anyday. If your just cruzin around and want comfort and lot's of low end power then go witht he raptor. To be honest, I let my little brother drive my raptor while i ride my YFZ (we ride at st anthony dunes) and when i get a little tired or worn out I'll switch him for a while. The raptor isn't as tiresome (sp) as the YFZ.

 

yeah the raptor is great bike but the yfz i feel for duning is the way to go... it has the power to get you where you need to go, i feel it's very comfortable... i think the raptor is a little big for itself... but no matter which one you go with they will serve you well Yamaha you can't go wrong
