Default Blaster shocks

if the works are made to fit in the stock arms and swingarm or else you will ruin your ball joints in the front i think

Depending on what year R shock you get, it may actually lower the rear end depending on your preload setting. The newer years were shorter then the older ones. Mine is a short body shock and sits about 1" lower then the stock shock, but again it's all in the preload setting.

I know this is an old post, but I am trying to put some 03' Banshee shocks on my sons 03' Blaster and they don't even come close? The stock Banshee shocks are about 1 1/2" longer than the Blasters. To get them on, I would have to compress them, then bolt them up? They would push the lower a-arms down to the point they would hit the a-arm mounts. (and thus have no more downward travel) Is this what everyones doing to get them to fit?

raptor shocks will fit. I've been looking for them but it seems as though no1 wants to buy aftermarket ones for their raptor. Can't blame them though because that is one comfortable ride.

Thanks for the info, but that still doesn't answer my question. To make the banshee shocks fit, do I have to copress them and put them on, then let them extend till the lower a-arm hits the frame mount? Is this not hard on the mounts?
