the blaster is a litle smaller. but the mojave has hydrolic brakes and is liquid cooled. i would rather have a mojave. i owned both and still have a 99 mojave

If you have money i would consider a Warrior or a 300 EX. Just my two cents !

First off, I'd personally suggest a used Warrior or 300EX. I own a Blaster and a Warrior and I would say the Blaster is a fun machine but in no way as versatile as a four stroke. I wound up riding the Blaster on a poker run as the wife had troubles (she cant slip a clutch worth a darn) while she rode my Warrior. That little thing was a real pain in the rocky sections. As a matter of fact, I'm probably going to sell it. It's a great little bike if you're experienced riding 2 strokes or not going over that difficult of terrain. It's a lot of fun, light and nimble but when it gets rough the blaster isnt the ideal machine. Compared to the Blaster the Mojave will feel slow, even if it's faster. That 2 stroke motor feels peppier than it really is and it's fun to ride, just dont expect too much from it.

I tried a blaster yesterday.. lot faster then I thought it would be. Kind of a sketchy ride though.. tippy. but sure was fun, keeps ya on your toes.

On my Blaster, I put 1" offset rims on the back with wider tires and fliped the front tires. It is very hard to 2 wheel it now.

It totally depends on what you want the quad to be able to do.

The motor in the Mojave is an absolute work of art, altho by now it is quite dated. It has 4 million moving parts--not really --but alot more things to go wrong than the Blaster 2-stroke.

If riding (and doing well) in the Dunes is on your menu, then by all means get the high rpm Blaster.
