04 YFZ Advanced Timing?

I am looking for some insight on how to advance the cam timing on my 04 YFZ. Has anyone done this to their yfz or heard of someone else doing it? I would like to find out how to do it.

If you are talking about the 'cam mod' you retard the exhaust cam 1 tooth.

what exactly does that do for the engine... and when you mean one tooth how does that work....
