Honda Rancher 4x4 .VS. Wolverine 4x4!
Honda can do more work and the Wolverine can do more speed and jumps.
You have to break down what kind of riding you will be doing first then find a machine that does the same thing.
I bought my Wolvy because I do some work, but I ride with other machines and most of them sports so I wanted something that can keep up. I also go hunting and wanted 4x4. I did not want the scrambler since I wanted gears for the little bit of work I do and I beleive the Scrambler was heavier.

If you took a ride on a Wolverine, you just might change your mind. The Rancher is a good quad, but its more for a slower paced rider and someone that will be using it more for work than play. The Wolverine is more for a faster paced rider or one that would rather play than work.
The suspension on the Rancher is set up for slower riding. When things are faster the suspension is taxed and you get a ruff ride.
It is the opposite on the Wolverine. The suspension is stiff on slow rides but really soaks up the bumps when the pace picks up.
The rancher is geared lower and the Wolverine is geared higher.
I have some relatives that have Ranchers and I have had some seat time on them. I will say one thing, the Rancher is pretty good in the mud. I like the Wolverine more, because it has a way sportier feel than the Rancher.
Its all in what you really want.
