Default warrior engine noise

i just got a 2002 warrior a couple weeks ago. it supposedly has a high comp. piston and a cam. it also has a big bore carb, im sure of that. i am noticing alot of engine noise, is this a normal thing on these quads? it almost seems like its bottom end. i dont really want to rebuild it already..

The make some valve noise, take the valve covers off and adjust them up, see if that helps. Most likey it'll be a valve issue, i doubt you blew the bottom end.

i already adjusted the valves. im not really thinking i blew the bottom end. Its looking like the quad was just thrown together when the guy was ready to sell it, so im wondering if he left something loose. are these motors pretty silent or do they make alot of noise?

I dunt know how loud this noise is that ur talking about...but my warrior does seem to have a bit more engine noise than other quads and its engine is fairly stock

Well some metal is usual when you first get the bike, not a 02. Looks like its gonna get ugly as you tear into it. Make sure you kick the guy once for me.
