Anyone out there in southern California in need of a riding partner? My Raptor should be here soon, and I'm dying to go to Glamis. Anyone interested in teaming up for a weekend, let me know. Email is cheboy@flashcom.net
Thanks.
Thanks.

The group I ride with is going out to Glamis the 14-15th of Oct., your welcome to ride with us. I've had my Raptor for 2 weeks and can't wait to try it at the dunes![Smile](https://atvconnection.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Calvin, paddle tires make a big difference, the dunes at Glamis are big, and the sand this time of year can be very soft. I got 20x10x10 8 paddle Haulers for my Raptor, the same paddle my girl friend uses on her Banshee.

Calvin,
I will be at Glamis Oct 13, 14 & 15. On October 14 in the morning there is going to be a Dune Clean-Up at Competition Hill.
To answer your question, paddles are not necessary to ride in the dunes but it is like adding a WHOLE bunch of horsepower to your bike because of all the traction that they provide in the loose ground. If you were to buy paddles I would recommend Skat Trak Edge or Sand Skate IIs. Haulers are nice too, but the "V" shaped paddles will allow for more turning ability in the dunes. The Skat Trak Edge have more BITE and the Sand Skate IIs look bitchin.
Do you have any other friends that ride at Glamis? Is this your first time going out there?
