I ride a 4-stroke, but without 2 strokes where would the world be. Think about this, when comparing new 4-strokes, what do they compare them to. "The new YFZ hits like a 2 stroke" - Dirtwheels If 2-strokes die, I'm pretty sure that I will to. I'm all for the petition. I mean what quad is faster than a modded Banshee and who can forget the legendary 250R. Thats a machine to be reckoned with. Speaking of which, whats the deal with the 250R getting banned from AMA? Is it just to good? The world is definetely coming to an end.

 

CTATV....I know you like your 2 smoker..Good for you. I bought the bike for 4500 used way back in "01"and put a whopping 1600 bucks in it...No Flash and no chrome.(oh ya...I polished my oil tank) .I have NEVER lost to a Quadzilla 500 yet. No big deal to whoop a$$ on. It gets me 10 feet outa the hole and then..bye bye 2 smoker.Funny how mad those guys get too. After they lose the 2nd and 3rd races, they just ride away into the sunset all mad and ****...Apparently you have not yet seen, heard nor felt the wrath of a well built Raptor. Talk is cheap when you are so far away. But look me up sometime and I'll learn ya a lesson or two. There are plenty of Banshees I whooped a$$ on as well but there are plenty of really fast ones out there too...Those guys are a different class all together...550's and 580 strokers won't even waste their time on me and I would not even concider racing them.Those guys know who they are and I know plenty of them. My bike was built to be a fast duner and trail bike...Just so happens it whoops a whole lotta other bikes as well...Not my fault that Raptors are such a GREAT quad...I just have good taste I guess. C'mon dude...chill out

 

i love 2 strokes every bike iv had was a 2 stroke as far as smelly i love the small of a 2 stroke smells like victory and all my friends with their 4 strokes dont wantr to race my 2 stroke cuz they know s strokes are bad *** mother f*ckers

 

Nothing worse than 20 to 30 riders on the trail waiting for the 2 strokes to cool down or they blew the chain , in my experience it always seems like its mostly to 2 strokes that break. I know they all break down 2 and 4 strokes . But, really think about how many times you have waited or have been the one that people have waited for .I just think that the 4 strokes are more dependable.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

ive got a 350 block banshee with a triple port exaust ill keep it short there is no 4 stroke that will run with it how do you feel about 105hp out of a 350 block you 4 stroke lovers i know i dont have the fastest shee but i have never been beat yet by a 4 stroke...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I dont necessarily want two strokes back but the technology is already here with Evinrudes ETEC boat motors.If the ETEC technology is used for quad motors it could impact the ATV industry because the ETEC motors have less emissions than a typical four stroke motor while also having the explosive power characteristics of a two stroke.(CTATV)-I am with (Itallion Stallion) on the Built raptor VS your quadzilla situation.I also have a 690 Raptor that has not lost to a quadzilla and i rarely lose to a Banshee unless it is built as Stallion described.I dont think you have done much serious drag racing against and really fast four strokes or you wouldnt claim to dominate over them as you say you do.I also welcome you to show me how fast you are and if you beat me then good for you but i can guarantee you had better do everything right because i will give you all you want with my four stroke.

 

i never mentioned a quadzilla ? dont know what your talking about? as for me all i do is drag race and i do it alot there is no substitute for rpm you just cant get enough power out of a four stroke? as for me i have a 350 block triple port exaust stage 4 running rdz inline pipes with 35pwk alcohol carbs producing 105hp 117mph quarter mile , with nitro well i hope you get the picture[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Who cares if anyone wants them back? They are still here for now, so go buy one if you really want one. But a whole bunch of whining isnt going to make it cheaper for each atv company to design a new type of low emission 2 stroke engine, especially when 4 stroke sales outweight current 2 stroke sales.
