Default Thinking of buying 01-03 Kodiak 400 ???

I am about to buy a atv for the wife.I found a 01 Kodiak SE 400 in great shape.

I need a mid size quad that easy to ride.I know that I need a hi/lo tranny.

Diff lock is not a concern, that seams to be the only thing it doesn't have.

I have also found a 04 Rancher 350fm which at this time is a option.

Thanks,M/M.

My brother has a 400 Kodiak and loves it.
It has over 3000km on it with no problems so far.

You have probably bought the 400 SE by now. I have had mine for three years and its great. No problems and I can go place my buddy can't on his Arctic Cat 650 because its so wide and heavy. I put 26 inch bear claw tires on to give it more lateral stability.
