I just became an owner of 05' Kodiak and am wondering about over fenders. I have 26" XL Mudlites on it and am thinking I may get a bit dirty seeing they stick out in the rear well beyond the stock wells. So whats your thoughts, needed or not? Also if you do, what products have you found or use? I did a little search this evening and didn't find much except the ones on the yami site.

Unless you don't mind getting muddy every time you go out, yes, you definately need them. I had a similar question about the Grizzly a while back. Some one that replied had pictures of a Kodiak with the extenders. It looked pretty good.

 

Do a search on the yamaha site and you will see the pictures of some. I aslo got new 26" tires and have got to get some or stay covered i mud.

 

I have overfenders on my Kodiak. That is by far dthe best purchase I have ever made. However I still have stock tires but I'm sure the overfenders will catch alot of the mud. Well worth the money.
