Throttle adjustment help?
#1
I think i bite of to much for me to chew. I looked to try to find my thortle govener to find out there is no screw on the back sid eof the throttle cable housing on the handle bars. the online manual says their is not on mine nothing thier. I was wondering if that is ok? Next i was wondering about the throttle cable adjustment. I was wondering when to push the throttle to the bar should it hit the bar in the back of the throttle housing or stop a 1/8 or so before it. Mine is like a 1/4 to 1/8 or so away. I was under the impression it should go all the way to the bar. Correct me if i am wrong is that is how i have tnow set but would be able to test for a few days. I would think to acheive full thorttle that first the governer must be all the way out and 2 that the push throttle button must go all to the back stop bar. correct me if i am wrong before i test next in a day or so and hurt something or myself. let me know.
Also my line on my chain adjustment are worn of or gone some how. what is a good way to make sure everything is in allignment.
Last my suspension settings. I am a 230 pound rider and will be doing lots of trail riding and hill climbing. My front seems to be set one click from hardest. what would be a good setting as i have no clue what to shot for for trail riding and hil climbing. AS for my rear no clue what it's at but would i want it softer or harder for trail riding and hill climbing. my thought would be softer for a more plush ride and maybee helping keep the front of the bike down. As for the front i think it might be good where it as at for hoping over things. but maybe softer as for when i lean foward their will more give in the front for hill climbs. Any help whould be great the more the better.

You need to let us know what kind of quad. Unless I missed it somewhere.
Suspension - i'm set 2 clicks soft on my Raptor for the trails but I weigh 150. Just make sure it's not too soft or you'll bottom out. Without knowing the quad, I can't be positive on your chain adjusters. Some cams are different.
