I have a 05 Grizzly that I have been having a hell of a time with. It has only 386 miles on it and has been threw 2 primary clutches complete and 2 belts. I am completely fed up with this problem. If there was something wrong with the wet clutch/shoe could that have anything to do with it? I don't even have to be riding it hard and it gets hot as hell and tears the thing apart. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like something was put together wrong or maybe off centered. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem, so unfortunately it's specific to your quad. It sounds like you are a candidate for a new quad. Definately use that customer service number and tell them that you want a new quad.

I would think its fixable.
Was it ever repaired under warentee for this problem? If it was, then its still covered under warentee, because it wasnt fixed correctly.
Hopefully you still have a good relationship with the servicing dealer, and you could talk him into fixing it again.
I would think the pullies are misalined, and any good tech should be able to fix it.

I had a few days left on my warranty and started to hear a funky noise coming from the belt drive area.
I took it to my local Yamaha Dealer to have it looked at and come to find out there was a sprag bearing that was making the noise. This looks like the sprag bearing used on the one-way starter on the Raptors. When I saw that I bout $HIT my pants.
On the clutch housing where this bearing rides there was wear from where the bearing was flat spotted. They are in the process of replacing everything in that area.

Shaft
Shaft housing
bearing
belt
and some other stuff.
