Default Warrior Performance Parts

I went to this site www.cycleworksracing.net/warrior and on that site they show alot of things to buy. I wanted to know how you do a cam lift. What kind should i get for top speed. All i want is parts for top speed. I dont like acceleration. anyway, they have a cam lift and differant sprockets for the cam also. What kind of sprocket should i get for it, more or less and where should i go to get it. Also, my quad doesn't start, when i hit the button, it makes 1 buzz sound n thats it. i already checked the CDI, silonoid, carb jettings, starter, and iam going to go to the stator next. I have heard that theres brushes inside of the starter that might have gotten stuck, i think you can replace them but iam not that sure. You think it could be from that or from the stator. Because iam positive that its not the CDI silonoid and carb. Thanks

Much as I hate to say it .. if you're ony interested in top speed you should seriously consider trading the Warrior for something different. The Warrior is plenty fast for me, and has ample acceleration, but for speed it's just not the machine to have. You're better off with a banshee or one of the new 400/450's

NL WARRIOR is right . most of the mods that you can do to the warrior will increase low and midrange power and acceleration.

if you want top speed and dont care about waiting for pigs to fly for you to get there then just put on some super sprockets

i had my whole engine rebuilt by CWR, the top and bottom end and they do some good work and my lakota rilly rips now and i noticed a big power gain just with the oversized valves, higher compression and cam but i think im going to go with the 335 kit at the end of this year and then eventually ill get the 390 stroker but anyway you could get a billet cam and the 400 kit and that will give you 11:1 compression to so you will have all the low to mid power you will ever need and then since you will have much more low to mid powe r you could just re gear it so you have more top end but still have real good bottom. if you get that work done you could probally get away with regaering it so your warrior does around 75 mph or even more but give greg at cycleworks a call and he should be able to give you everything you need to get more top end out of your warrior. just tell him what you want and he could hook you up

if he gets oversized valves, a mid end power billett ajustable cam and a 400 kit with a 11:1 piston and geared it up so he has a top speed of around 75 he would still have real good excell becasue of those mods, the accelleration would probally feel much, much stronger then stock even if he geared it up so it could hit around 75

If it makes the buzzing sound that means you have to tighter the battery connectors .Its the wire with the positive and negative. It has a ring on the end of the wire that a bolt goes through that connects to the battery.
