Wolverine/ balljoints/ how long will they last??
#1
The correct answer is about two years if you ride in mud and water alot, my right lower one just went out due to the seal deforming around the balljoint stem. Has anyone installed grease fittings on their balljoints?????? Polaris might have the right idea about putting grease fittings on everything!!!

I just purchased a ball joint for my sons wolverine and payed 42 dollars for the damn thing. In retrospect I purchased one for my 1995 navistar 9400 series on highway tractor and it cost 27 dollars my truck had 580,000 miles on it, the Wolverine had about 400 miles. Guess which one had a grease fitting. This is one thing that really frosts my nuggies with the Jappanese. C,mon guys lets have some grease fittings. It only makes sense these things are being opperated in mud and water two of the biggest enemies of unprotected metal

The price for my lower control arm was $89 and about $10 each for the bushings, oh by the way my front drive shaft universal joints are shot also, you guessed it, no grease fitting either!!! Does anyone have any easy way to replace the universal thats attached to the (fork)on the engine side of the drive shaft, I'am concerned about messing up the engine seal, boy thats really a tight place to work!!!
