is it bad for the engine if u ride it when the vavles need adjustment????? and how long does it take to adjust them about????

 

Depends if they are tight or loose. Loose, no. Tight yes. Even then, it depends on how tight. If you have them so tight it hangs the valve open, then yes, that's a really bad thing.
Depends on how good you are and how many things are in the way. Once you get the caps off, it should not take any more than about 1 minute (no adj) to 5 minutes to adjust the valve.
