Default Blaster Overheating?

My brother and i went riding today, he rides a cr250 so im allways revvin the **** outa my blaster, right to the bar the whole time..... Well we stopped and for some odd reason, no smell or anything wierd, i just spit a little on the head to see how hot it was, The spit stuck and sizzled and bubbled. Is this TOO hot? I've got her jetted even a little rich, like milk chololate color brown plug. The only other time ive seen it this hot was when i just bought it, and the ppl who had it before me had it jetted WAY lean, ( i think its cause it was a chick riden it, who needed it so lean so it wouldnt foul plugs) And it overheated so much right when i got it that all the sudden it started to DIESEL, reved waaaayyy up, but throttle was closed, kill switch and key did nothin, so i pulled the plug cap and STILL just revvin to the moon. It melted almost the whole exhaust side of the piston off......... But thats why im afraid of gettin it this hot.
We werent riden slow speeds, or climbin massive hills. It just seemed hot to me. What do u guys think? Is sizzling spit too hot or not?

Engines get hot, thats why your spit sizzled. Why you would spit on your ATV is beyond me, but whatever...
As long as your plugs dont look white, Id say you are OK.
