Hellow my name is rick im 13 years old and looking to buy my first quad. I will mostly be riding with freinds on trails and I need the quad for light work and good features. can you help me and list good and bad of both quads. please i need help. wonderin wich one is most powerfull

 

Hey wassup? That is tough, I really dont know. I would have to say that they are about equall. I would just go to dealer and see how far you can get dealer to go down on the price and get the cheapest one or testdrive both and see which on you liek the most and not what everyone else says is better.

 

A long while back they had a test between the two. The Recon blew the beartracker away like if it wasn't even there. If I can remember right the rated the recon the most best 250 class atv ever.
I drove the the recon before and for a 250cc bike it is very fast and powerful. I recomend this bike to anyone that is looking for a small sporty, tough, durable, and realilable bike.

If I was going to buy a 250 quad it would be the Recon, the Beartracker doesn,t have the power that my Timberwolf has.

 

If you are looking at the Recon, why not consider the new Honda SporTrax 250? Basically same bike with more stylish plastic.

 

I can't say which one is better. But I can give you some insight on that Honda 250. A few weeks ago I hooked up with some people out on a trail. They had a SP500 and the Honda 250. I have a Kodiak 4wd. That Honda 250 went every place that we did without any problems. So I don't think you could go wrong with that machine.
