Default Yamaha blaster tires

I was wanting to decrease my rear tire size to an 18" instead of a 21" using the stock rims for now. Would I have to change the gearing or would it run fine.

it depends, on if you want to gain bottom end and loose a bit of top end then keep the same gearing..........................if you want it to feel like it did with the 21's go up 1 or 2 teeth inn front and drop 1 or 2 teeth in back
