Blackbird:

Yamaha to update their website at 9:00 AM or PM on Sunday?

I think the Raptor 700 EFI (maybe even with IRS or lower CG) and Grizzly EFI are sure bets!

Long-Travel IRS would be awesome on a sport quad if it was set up correctly.

I hope they release another big-bore though

No one has even tried to answer this question yet... Where are they getting the displacement? Not from the existing engine...

I might eat my own words, but I believe all this 700 Raptor stuff is a bunch of bologne! I think the rumor started from the modded Rappy on the cover of dirtwheels. And it wold cost them to much to make a whole new engine anyways, and there is nothing wrong with the current one. It need to be widened before it has more power from the factory.

And honestly, we don't need a bike bigger than a 660, people scream more cc's when they don't get the potential out of what they got IMO.

IMO the best Long Travel IRS setup for a sport machine would probably be like what BRP uses on the Outlander. The quad would then take on the look of a trophy truck. But yes it would have to be done right.

I'am with ya on that one Motox, no 700 Raptor. Maybe EFI, but I doubt that to. We all get our hopes up to high I think.

I think it will force BRP's hand to switch to the EFI version of the Rotax650 motor. That alone adds 8hp according to the Rotax website.

it's 9pm. I remember last year I waited up to 11pm central, excitedly I might add

If they go EFI on the YFZ, I wonder if it would be an add on for the 04/05's

EFI wouldn't really make it go any faster, right? Just give it more instant throttle response and no need for jetting
