Default New and Improved '06 Models from Yamaha

well you never know if they will be efi. i know suzuki's doing it so maybe they are too.heard the 06 banshee and blaster is the last year .they will have a new 250 4-stroke to take place of the blaster.if they put the wr-450 crank in it that will give them the cc they need for a true 450.but for the 06 dirtbike 450 motor they redesign the head and and the engine is shorter and they are going to a dual sump design on the dirtbike motor so that might be thhe motor they might use to

I could really care less, I'm not planning on upgrading anytime soon. I would actually like to see new upgrades, that way I can trash some new bikes with my obsolete atv.

Well now, I guess we know who was right and who was fulla poo. I wanted to see some kind of enhancement to the grizz. I guess that will be next year. At least my quad is still the top of the line in Yamaha world. A 700 raptor is still cool. well, 686 anyway. I wonder if that engine will fit in my grizz'z frame???!!!! I will be getting a set of the new graphics for my grizz though. Those look really cool. Do you guys think I could get them from my dealer? I will call and find out right now..........Can't get it. Won't be out until Aug. Dang it.

Well?

Was it only BNG or a pretty good, new model year for Yamaha? What did Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki or Polaris come up with that compares to the effort Yamaha put into their line-up?

Examples:

An all-new 700cc Raptor, that is lower and wider with EFI and an aluminum frame.

An all-new Wolverine with new styling, a bigger-bore (450c) plus an auto tranny with "On Command" 2wd/4wd. (Hmmmm)

Just over 80 changes including a true 450cc displacement on the YFZ450 ( plus a new Cross Country "Bill Ballance" version of the YFZ450).

An all-new Rhino (450cc) side-by-side!

I guess my magazine friend was correct. Yamaha would be introducing several "New" models and updating others.

I was disappointed that I didn't see any big changes to the utility ATV models like the Grizzly.

I like all the different brands of ATV's, but I like what Yamaha has done over the past 10 years.

IMO
