Default New and Improved '06 Models from Yamaha

I spoke with my Magazine Editor friend on Friday. He told me that Yamaha has several new ATV models this year and has upgraded several other ATV models significantly. Of course he would not get specific with me, citing his confidentiality agreement with Yamaha. He was only saying that this year (2006), Yamaha has really out done itself. He says I won't be disappointed! We will all know after the Yamaha Dealer show on June 11th! I can't wait. I love this time of year. Go Yamaha (and introduce a Big Bore Wolverine)!

Is this the same 450cc bump that everyone was SO sure was going to happen for 05?

Anyone seen the 06 grizz yet? New colors for the Limited edition models...

I'll stick to what I originally said. I always hope for some model that they (the Manufacturer) never seem to want to make, but I have known this ATV Magazine Editor for 12 years, I have had him in my home several times, he is a good friend, and he has no reason to lie to me. He could have been even more vague with me, but he was excited about what Yamaha was releasing. He told me that I would be impressed with all the new models and the updates! Sounds like more than BNG!

This is going to be a good year for Yamaha!

The glass is half full!!

Yamaha's I have owned:
'86 BW200 (in '95)
'87 Warrior (new)
'87 Banshee (in '92)
'88 Banshee (in '97)
'88 Blaster x 2 (both in '92)
'90 Blaster ('94)
'95 Wolverine (new)
'98 Grizzly (new)
'98 Timberwolf 2x4 (new)
'99 TTR-250R (new)
'00 Kodiak 400 4x4 (new - still own)
'01 Raptor 660 (new - in '01)

99% of the rumors I hear on here I wouldn't believe, but if BAMA250R says it, you can bank on it

I can't wait either. I remember last year, I was up all night refreshing the yamaha page. I was basing what happened on whether or not to buy the 04 or 05 YFZ.

I bought my 2005 le raptor about 8 weeks ago and the dealer has not brought in another 1 yet, makes me think there is a new raptor in the works. If it was going to be the same old raptor I would think that they would have no problems bringing in another. I also am just about sure that there is an 800 efi coming out this year-4x4, but I've already made that post. Probably gonna be mad that I couln'nt wait for the 2006's.
