lightening flywheel

what advantages do you get from lightening your flywheel im thinking of having this mod done to a banshee and is it a mod that is worth the money??

i was going to do this to my blaster but i spent the money i saved. A smaller or lightening flywheel gives u more throttle responce and more low end.

This depends on what you want out of your quad.
Adding weight to the flywheel allows you to putt around and lug down the motor more, but it won't rpm as quickly as with the stock flywheel.

Removing weight off the flywheel will enable you to rev right up to the max, but at the expense of some low end, and you'll have to downshift sooner.

Shaving the flywheel and reducing rotating weight,
are keys to getting that explosion of rpms that the Banshee is so famous for---9200 rpm--right now.
