I have a 2000 warrior for my wife and the only problem I've had ( and it's not even a problem ) is that the crankcase vent is plumbed to the dirty side of the air box inlet. I replaced it with a k&n style breather and feel that it will be fine. My friend had the same problem on his raptor and sucked a bunch of dirt in to his motor..... BOOM!!!....

I have a 1999 Warrior and I have put it through some tough and rough things and it still runs like it came from the factory. I haven't had to do anything to my Warrior and I have had it for almost 2 years.

I can't speak for other quads, but the chain adjustment system on the Warrior leaves something to be desired.

I had a 1998 Warrior for two years and within those two years I changed the oil twice! Adjusted the chain about four times and that was it. My Warrior didn't give my an ounce of trouble. In my opinion; one hell of a sport-utility atv.... It sold the first day!!!!!

Sincerely,

In comparison to Honda, I don't think there's any difference as far as how they will hold up over time. Both brands will hold up as long as you take care of them. I've had my Warrior for 10 years, kept it stock except for tires and a twist throttle and have had no problems with it. Parts will wear out like tires, chains and sprockets, this is normal. Any quad will break down if its abused.
